PUBLIC NOTICE
Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the
Town of Tisdale
intends to adopt bylaws under the Planning and Development Act, 2007 to amend Bylaw No. 17/05, known as the Zoning Bylaw and Bylaw No. 16/05, known as the Official Community Plan.
INTENT
The proposed Official Community Plan amendment will:
• Re-designate from partially Residential and partially Open Space to Residentialall of Lot 1, Block 38, Plan BW6040 and part of Block 38, Plan BJ1658 in the NE ¼ 1-45-15-W2M as shown within the bold dashed line on the Plan of Proposed Subdivision, dated November 7, 2018 by Murray G. Radoux, S.L.S., on Sketch "A" below. The proposed Zoning Bylaw amendment will: • Rezone from partially R1 - Residential District and partially PR - Parks and Recreation District to R1 - Residential District, all of Lot 1, Block 38, Plan BW6040 and part of Block 38, Plan BJ1658 in the NE ¼ 1-45-15-W2M as shown within the bold dashed line on the Plan of Proposed Subdivision, dated November 7, 2018 by Murray G. Radoux, S.L.S., on Sketch "A" below.
REASON The reason for the amendments is: • to accommodate residential development in the Town of Tisdale.
PUBLIC INSPECTION Any person may inspect the bylaws at the Town Office, located at 901 100th Street, in the Town of Tisdale, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM on Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays. Copies of the proposed bylaws are available at the Town Office at a cost of $1.00.
PUBLIC HEARING Council will hold a public hearing on March 11, 2019 @ 7pm at the Town Office to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaws. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the undersigned at the Town Office before the hearing.
